woah. That's super low. i would think that would feel weird if you lean into the turns at all.

Think about it.

30psi is good in a 2.2" tire but would be terrible in a 25mm (1") tire, and you would not want to run the 90psi the 25mm needs in the 2.1".

I'm sure if i actually spent more time on it than 10 minutes, i could've gotten it feeling a lot better.

What makes and East Coast 29er?

short stays, taller bb height, steeper HT angle

or

Short stays, lower bb height - slacker angle??

Should I do it?

curious - do you run those big fatty fats with tubes or tubeless? If with tubes do you have to buy special ones from Surly to work with those ginormo tires?
