It snowed while we were cutting our Christmas tree down on Sunday in Santa Cruz CA. Just to give you an idea, it only snows here maybe every couple years. Probably the most epic/festive tree cutting I have ever done.
I dress svelt for the ski trails. ya know, aerodynamics & all that.
I've been waiting. This balmy, warm, dry winter is for the birds.We're supposed to get a foot of snow by Wed. I'm blaming you.

holy **** it is cold out. just walked to the gas station (10 minutes each way) to grab some food and damn near froze my nuts off. -17 with a 7 mph wind, brrrrrrrrr!

I definitely don't have cold enough wax on my skis for these ridiculously cold temps.
No hard hats for drinking in public, it looks to stupid. Speaking of looking stupid, Bigron had a ghetto ass pleather jacket and Air Jordans on his gooney feet.
Currently 17 and clear skies. Wicked chill this morning, though. I had a full cup of coffee frozen in my truck this morning.
5p.m. and its 2 degrees, winds @ 28 gusting to 44. Supposed to be -5 before windchill tonight. Makes me glad I'm not working nights anymore.
I skied a day at pico up in vermont when it -35f with a strong wind. I was literally wearing everything I had with me on the trip, 7 layers on top and 5 on bottom and I still had to go in every other run and sit in front of the fire. It was a blast though, had the mountain to ourselves.
When we got down the manual transmission fluid was frozen and we had to sit there for half an hour while the thing warmed up.
