That trilogy meter is pretty spot on. Only one I think should be rated a little higher is the second Matrix movie.
2nd blade was crap. 2nd and 3rd LOTR should be lower. Matrix is spot on imho.
The 2nd was not as awesome as the first but is was still a great movie. The 3rd one I didn't like that much.
I liked the 1st Blade movie better than the 2nd. But for rating all of those trilogies its pretty accurate.
Beyond Thunderdome should be lower.
Agree the 2nd Matrix wasn't as bad but the whole idea ruined the 1st one. Kinda like the other Cube movies or American Psycho 2 though Matrix had better financial backing and more hype behind it. I'm pretty sure we can make a looong list of movies which should have ended with a mistery and explaining it in the sequel ruined it.
btw. Any movie with a singer turned actress is crap. Period. (Male singers, thats different. Just look at Bruno, I mean Bruce Willis
