THIS^. My blazer has a spring in the door for opening/closing. Bought the little spring clamp and was a piece of cake to re-install. Would pay for a bike shop to have one these days.If the above fails, take it to a motorcycle shop they have spring clamps that fit bike shocks, charged me 8 bucks mine was super tight! took 5 mins.

sooo doing that when I get home tonight.a cooler way would be to attach some projectile to one end, attach the other end to an immovable object then cut the zip tie with some dikes.
