Hi all,
what forks are out there that would be good for a 24" cruiser.
I know of the Sunday morning 24.1 forks.
I also know of the S&M XLT "race" forks - are these any good for street?
Any others?
Cheers
Ian
not really any other non-race forks that you can get aftermarket, sure you can buy a used one off someone upgrading their complete cruiser.
ive got the sunday fork and its awesome. its one of those items you dont really understand the strength of until it bends, but i made sure to check how strong this one was, and its gnarly
Are any of these readied to take a front brake or is some drilling required?
If I do drill a hole (for a u brake not 990 mounts) will this weaken them? I'm guessing no as they come drilled on completes.

Hi,
Yes I was talking about calliper type brakes.
I looked at the identiti forks but they are all suspension corrected.
I can't find any Sunday forks in the UK but can find the S&M XLT race forks, these are cut to take a brake. Are they strong enough for freestyle though?
I'm guessing yes, given the abuse they would get on a race course and I can't jump as high as they get yet!
Best wishes all
