The full sized ones they run up in Tahoe are scary.
I used to see the Peruvian/Chilean kids that worked at the resorts walking down the street while they were running and I always wondered how nobody ever got munched.

I used to work at Mt Bachelor in Oregon.. couple years before i started (would have put it at 2004 or so) some kids built a snow-cave straight into the side of the bank in the parking lot. one of those things went by...no more kid, and a lot of red snow... Obviously the plow driver was found not at fault, but I think they quit shortly after just from the mental stress of it all.
