Maybe im going soft, but for christmas i got my GF another rabbit. (black mini lop) First name "paws", second name "the bunny"

I was kinda skeptical as to the whole rabbit thing, but she takes care of the other two ("bunson" and "moo") and likes them so i figured how bad could it be. I have had it from 2 weeks before christmas to right now, and it will be staying here until its warm outside. Well a rabbit as a pet is a pretty nice thing to have. It took me 2 days to litter train it and it hits the litterbox about 99/100, since thats about how much it poops in a day. It is pretty easy to feed and take care of, i change the litterbox once a week and thats mostly all of the maintenance i have to do. I hear im lucky, because i can pick him up fine, and he doesnt seem to mind much or get too squirmy. When I let him out of his cage (dog cage) he rips around the basement mach 10 jumping and hopping galore. I will let it rip around the basement (and its literally 10-20 minutes non stop) while i work on my bikes across the room, it loves to come out, its pretty social and runs up to see you when you walk into the room. (which is pretty good for a prey animal that probably thinks im going to eat it)

Currently teaching it not to leave the carpet, working out mediocre.

Might be a pointless post, but having a rabbit as a pet is a pretty enjoyable experience. Less work than a dog, more personal than a fish. not sure if my GF will get this one back :D

i got my fiancee a baby lionhead and her friend has one as well, they both live inside, though im now the caretaker ( of course), it seems to be a decent pet, especially since its quite and we are not really supposed to have a pet in out apartment.
i would definitely rather a dog, but what can ya do?

Oh Jesus...why not just have a sex change and ditch the girlfriend???

Of all the crap I never thought I'd read here, it's happened. We officially have reached the point where we can't mock pinkbike or mtbr. God help us.

I thought you bought her "The Rabbit". Wife and most of her friends have it. You get her that...you win. Trust me kid.
That was my exact thought.
But damn, why does she need 3.

To the OP, in case you failed biology: 3 rabbits will quickly become more at an expodential rate.

Flower was indoor until we learned my wife was allergic. I moved her house (2 story monster I built out of wood) under the porch cover and she created an extensive burrow under the patio.

She was like a sanitary dog for the most part, Give her something to chew on and she was happy. I also gave her a lot of attention, so she was well handled.

I agree, i have dogs, they are a PITA, nd the rabbit is about 90% as amusing with much less effort, and it doesn bark.

And for some strange reason, she ate ALL of my habanero starts the first year in the yard. I had close to 30 little 4" sprouts I grew from seed that she ate flush with the ground. She didn't touch anything in the garden but my hot peppers. Go figure.

you kidding? When I can't get her in the mood, that little sucker helps me seal the deal. It's not a substitute, it's like a dual channel amplifier for nookie.:thumb:
Yeah, until she realizes that it does everything you do but with less talking.

There has to be a MILLION awful double-entendres and jokes I could write here but since we have known each other for quite a while AND shared a dark room together I will refrain. It was a magical night full of wonder and mystery. :D

Get this rabbit to take care of the other rabbit... then get the Holy Hand Grenade and you're money:

You really neg repped me for this? Really?
"PSP" is fightin' words 'round these parts mister... a man says "PSP" - he better fill his hand quick or he's gonna get shot full o' holes with an angry smoke wagon.

After I shaved it's posterior. It was quaking in fear. I tried to hold it down but the little bastard went crazy. I chased it around the house until it went behind the fridge. At this point it was shrieking real loud. I figured it was game over and put my pants back on. It would not come out from behind the fridge even after I pushed it closer to the wall. My brother had his gun on him when he came over that night. We shot him/her, dressed it and had it for dinner the next night. It tasted like chicken. Really did.... If my brother had kept his mouth shut, My Ex's Mom would have never found out and I wouldn't have had to buy her a new one. Eventually we ate that one too.
