Body armour with built in neck brace?

I fail to see why would anybody want one?

Indeed this is a flawed concept - I want to be able to either:
- use full body armor + brace
- use backplate + brace
- use backplate + brace + elbowpads
- use brace only

Because some folks think that using a neck brace with body armor causes a lack of mobility keeping them from looking down the trail instead of at their front wheel the whole time.

There is a design out there, a bad-ass one that my buddy designed and tested last season.
Just looking for the $$ backup since the co. dropped it.

The Droid was dropped from future production after continual concerns about its safety kept coming up. A huge shame because really fully ready to buy one.

There have been more than a few folks to have the neck brace break their collar bones.
The integrated design should help distribute the force throughout the rest of the armor etc. not just toward that one area.
