They played well against the Steelers a few weeks ago and still lost.

Just sayin. :thumb:

If the past is any indicator, don't bet against Pittsburgh in the playoffs unless they are playing New England. I hate black/purple and living in this area doesn't help that feeling one bit.
Well, Ravens won against the Steelers earlier this year, they acted like they wanted it then. I'm just say'n. The announcer said after yesterdays game that when the Steelers play the Ravens, it's always a game that comes down to a win in the last several minutes and usually by a field goal. One thing's for sure, it's going to be another fighting type of game.

You said it. That game is always physical/nasty/dirty.

Fun fact... Roethlisberger is 8-2 as a starter against the Ravens. But Baltimore's defense is peaking right now. Its gonna be a good game. Here's hoping for a Pitt/Chicago super bowl. :thumb:

Mah WEEK TWO picks:

Baltimore over Pittsburgh
Green Bay over Atlanta
Chicago over Seattle (Chicago won't cover the spread)
New England over NY Jets

If the Patriots win by 50, it won't be enough. The Jets to STFU. I really want to see the Patriots run up the score.

X3 was the only one to correctly pick all four games last weekend. Well done, sir.

Don't get me wrong, I want the Jets to loose very, very badly. I just have a feeling they won't.

one of the big factors in that win is that they were playing against the pittsburgh's backup QB.

another fun fact: Steelers have never lost to the Ravens in the post season.

Baltimore over Pittsburgh
you're dead to me.

bottom line, if baltimore wants to stand a chance against the steelers, they've gotta play a full 60 minutes of really hard football. which i doubt they can, they didn't show up to the game until the last few minutes of the first half against the chiefs last week.

Up sh*t creek, without a paddle
Pittsburgh (Ben has less turnovers than Flacco.)
New England (Brady. Nuff said.)
Seattle (Cutler implodes, Martz loses his sh*t, Hawks by 3.)
Green Bay (I just have a weird feeling about this one. Pack found a running game...may have some carry over to this week.)

Oh, the pressure!

Let's see, how about:

Steelers over Ravens
Packers over Falcons (I am being anti-bird, I guess)
Bear over Seahawks (again, the bird thing)
Pats over Jets

Cromartie
"We see that a lot. He does it a lot," Cromartie said. "That's the kind of guy he is. We really don't give a damn, to tell you the truth."
Okay, what kind of guy is Brady?

"An ass----.

"---- him."

ending sentence:
Is this a bad time to bring up the fact that Cromartie has fathered nine children by eight different women and that the Jets had to front him $500,000 in salary this year so he could pay back child support?

Brett Favrerer isnt the only Favrerer whose into a scandal...but is it better than texting pics of your junk and getting in trouble for it?

The arrest of Vikings quarterback Brett Favre’s(notes) sister during a drug raid in southern Mississippi isn’t the first time she’s been in trouble with the law.

Hancock County Sheriff’s Maj. Matt Karl said officers were very familiar with 34-year-old Brandi Favre.

“She’s always in trouble,” Karl said.

Brandi Favre was among five people arrested in the Wednesday raid at a Diamondhead condo and was charged with manufacturing methamphetamine and generating hazardous waste, Karl said.
