Maybe Jason thought gazzou was talking about the 800 series Saint with the axle mount? It was slightly confusing as he said "bolt-on".

I used to run the RD hanger on all my bikes until my rear derailleurs starting getting ripping off instead of the hanger. Replacing the hanger is an easy trail side and a lot cheaper than having to replace a derailleur.

Yes, I was thinking about the Saint that mounts to the threaded axle.

If it mounts to a normal hanger then it will be fine. I have the latest Saint Shadow on my personal rig. Nice and low profile.

The only derailleur that I have seen so far that doesn't fit too well is 10 speed X7.

All Demos come with an integrated outboard hanger protector. I have never seen anyone lose a derailleur at the hanger with this design.

JC-

Will the Manitou Dorado fit okay on the new Demo? Just checking to make sure there aren't bumper issues like the Fox 40.

Thanks for responding in this thread!
I actually don't know 100%, but my guess is that it will fit fine. Only the Fox 40 has the "upside down" looking lower crown.

Wow that looks good. They did a great job by keeping the airbrushing just near the headtube. If they would have covered the frame in it then it would have went down a few notches. IMHO...

Mine just showed up today. So stoked! Waiting on shock and crankset as we speak...

Does anyone know if the hammerschmidt facing tool for iscg and BB shells will work on a PF30 ISCG 05 setup? I want to get it all cleaned up before i try and press in a BB.

Protip: Hammerschmidt facing tools works great on PF30 shell and iscg tabs.

That's a pre production version of the storm. The production ones will be a little bit different with regards to gripper size and placement.

I'll be using a Fox RC4, but I have both yokes in order to try out a vivid as well as soon as I can get my hands on one.

Fraser I see your frame has the new insert cover for the lower swingarm pivot. Curious if its only a cover or if it also acts as a structural piece for ease of assembly of the thru bolt for alignment. Also looks like the frame is an XS? I have a complete XS due sometime soon myself. Nice to finally have another true smaller size DH frame option.

No worries a good 2+ feets of snow takes care of waiting, i just want to be sure they are coming around when the snow starts to melt since i have a vivid air on the way.

I assume i have to go trough the shop where i bought my frame to get the yoke?

Really nice frame by the way, who ever designed it has done a really good job with it.

Freeborn seems to be able to sell online though?
They are in the UK, policies might be different over there. I've worked at two specialized dealers and I know for a fact they can drop you as a dealer if they find out you are selling their bikes online and/or shipping them. Does that mean it never happens...;)
