Good Elka service

So im not done, or out of the woods yet, but despite what you hear on the internet these days, i had a great experience with elka this past week. I have an elka on a jedi, and after this season, i got the beginning of stroke "dead" zone, like many people on here have had. i called up elka (who answered 2nd ring) and talked to them telling them that i need a bleed/rebuild, they run the serial and tell me that i am eligible for some warranty working including a new shaft, damper and few other things. This is after a whole season riding it. I know i am not out of the woods yet, but with all the bad press elka had in the last year, i figured i would share my good experience with them. May have had some rough times, but things look positive right now.

Glad to hear that- I would like to try one of their shocks if things work out.

i can honestly say that as a distributor for Elka (Israel) we get some of the best service and support from them on any issue we have! they are great guys ,know their product and always go a long way to make us happy, not to mention their products rock (shock an cartridge) !!!

Iv'e got a similar situation to you. I sent in my Elka for a regular service, probably 3 weeks ago. (Purchased beginning of 2010, ridden 1 full season without any problems) I got a call, and they told me how my shock was out of date and not worth fixing. So they opt to give me a brand new shock with without any costs. PLUS they even covered shipping for Fedex 2-day air!!!:)

Elka rocks man! Taken good care of our team. I am able to speak with someone there every time I call and they get right on stuff. I can't imagine them having anything but, the best customer service with how good they have been to us.

I'm glad to hear all this, sounds promising, surprised nobody heard about the bad, it was all over this website 6-9 months ago. I am not digging it up, because no reason to focus on the bad, great shock company, with great service.
