Yeah, she better find a sense of humor cuz she's gotta walk past that thing every day from here on out.

Also, she just so happened to be texting somebody from church?? But all of the sudden the phone is stolen. What a tough week! I'm mean, I guess it can be true.

But back at work Sunday, the phone was stolen as Cathy helped customers in the store where she works.

its even funnier that security wouldnt let her look at the surveillance video to see who stole it

Stupid @$%&$%&*%

It is too bad that it wasn't a vat of battery acid... she is a plague, and is not long for Darwin award status...

oh and I like her Hubby's douchy neck tattoos!

I like how she is not smart enough to understand that the people who released the video were not actually filming it off of the monitor as it happened, but reviewing the tapes later... what a fvcking fvck!

Her attorney, James M. Polyak of Reading, said he plans to conduct an investigation into what happened.

"We are troubled by the fact that anyone at the Berkshire Mall responsible for releasing this video would find humor in an employee injured on the premises," Polyak said. "We intend to hold the appropriate persons responsible.

"No one from that security office came to her aid in a timely manner."
I think Anonymous will coming to the rescue now...

if it hasn't been posted, she has several warants... she is in some trouble. This may have been a ploy! if you watch the video, she seams to lift her foot pretty high then trips in... could this be a fabricated "accident"?

Now that you mention it. I watched the "entry" over and over. She does seem to pull her leg to the side as if you were fixin' to step over something. Almost like the staged videos people send to America's Funniest Home videos

Haha.

Cathy Cruz Marrero took a nontraditional route to fame. She became an unexpected celebrity recently when video of her falling into a mall fountain while distracted by text messaging went viral.

She took advantage of the situation by going on ABC's "Good Morning America," where she explained, "I was actually texting a friend of mine from church." She also complained that the mall security guards were too busy laughing to make sure she was OK.

Now she's likely to be more embarrassed. Reports have surfaced saying she has a criminal record that includes several convictions for theft as well as a hit-and-run.

And she's currently accused of charging thousands of dollars to a co-worker's credit cards. In fact, she had to go to court on those charges just hours after her "GMA" appearance.

i hope she gets fvcked over for everything she's done

hmm, i think a re-enactment is in order...w/ proper video

ha, a re-enactment would be great! And hell, you'll have an audience now cuz this here fountain is prolly gonna be a well known tourist attraction soon. Hell, you should just go and get an Aunt Annie's pretzel and go over and sit on the wall at least.

according to this article, shes in a world of problems..
Marrero, 49, was charged in October 2009 for allegedly using a coworker's credit cards to make more than $5,000 in purchases at a Target and a Zales jewelry store -- $1,055 of those purchases were dismissed from the case in previous hearings.

She is expected to face sentencing at her next court date, on April 21, according to the Reading Eagle. Marrero is likely facing about six months of house arrest and electronic monitoring.

Her probation ended in October........

Court documents indicate that Marrero has had her own legal troubles.

She has been out on $7,500 bail since her 2009 charges for alleged theft, records show.

According to court records, Ileana Rivera of Reading, Pa., who worked at the Zales jewelry store in the Fairgrounds Square Mall with Marrero, reported that Marrero had used her credit cards without permission.

Marrero allegedly made $4,177 in purchases at Zales and $1,055 in purchases at a Target around the time of August 2007, records show.

Rivera admitted she at one time had permitted Marrero to use her Target credit card to make a small purchase but did not give her permission to make other purchases.

In August 2007, Rivera noticed she hadn't received her credit card bills and discovered that her address on the accounts was allegedly changed to that of Marrero's.

According to public court documents, Marrero has convictions for retail theft four times and one other theft in New York from 1997 to 1999 and retail theft in York County in 1999.

She also received 12 months of probation after being convicted of a hit-and-run charge in Berks County in 2009.
