I was patrolling my beat, just minding my own business and some punk kid yells out "eff da police!".

should i complain to his parents about his rude behavior? i mean..i was offended and he hurt my feelings.

i'm going to talk with my life counselor about how to proceed with this issue...i mean, i just can't believe a person could be so rude..what did the police ever do to him?!

edit:
The thread i'm trolling in case of random future reference:

And you didn't beat him... or at least tell him that he's "going downtown".

What is the world coming to.

II don't know how you can do that job. I would last one day as a cop before being suspended because I gave some turd a well deserved tune up on the way to booking.

Trolls, does that response sound a little butt-hurt?

BTW, nice Komodo. Love my '09.
benefits of running the bike unit...I get to choose the equipment :D those "police edition" comfort bikes just don't cut it for what we do and where we work...it's dj forks and 8" rotors for us (we're the only PD i know of that goes the "freeride" route) :thumb:

momentary derailment:

i just got back from Ray's MTB in cleveland, OH and i took one of the guys from my bike unit with me. because i'm our bike instructor we got to write the trip off as "training"....we had to pay for it out of pocket but we got training hours and the ability to write it off as a work related expense come tax time :thumb:

You should come down to Charlotte and teach these police a thing or two... There are about 6 bike cops here, and get ready for this... they push their bikes up hills.

I would have arrested him...he was probably high anyways. I have a buddy that got a ticket for saying that to a cop once though. The cop said it was "verbal abuse against a police officer."

I re-read my OP in this thread and decided that it wasn't very accurate/realistic. What i should have said is:

"A battered wife jumped on my back and tried to assault me while i was arresting her abusive husband after she called 911 because he was beating the crap out of her.....shouldn't i receive an apology from her for hurting my feelings? i was just trying to keep her from being beaten to death and she got all pissy....... ;)

Most awesome think I ever got was a fake-ass American Hot Topic San Francisco punker with an acoustic guitar over his back tossing us the "V"s as the black suburbans drove past. OI! HARDCORE SID VICIOUS!!!

Waved, smiled, and then had to deal with the Egyptian riding with us who started screaming, "Did he give us the ****ing finger? Why do we not stop this car? We are not stopping the car?! Bull****! In my country, I would stop and get out and cut off his ****ing finger! This is not a figure of speech--I would stop the car, get out, take my knife and actually cut his ****ing finger off his ****ing hand!!"

LOL.

Recently at a starbucks I had a bunch of punks talking loudly about douchbags in suits while I was sitting one table away in my suit.

I turned to them laughing and mentioned to them that I was a punker when I was in high school, and that they look exactly like the punks I hung out with. Then I mentioned how I was not an original, we were just copies of copies of the true originals. That made them copies of a copy, of a copy, of a copy, of a copy, of a copy...

I kept going as they got up and walked away.
