Diggin the yellow.
me too. it was a hard color decision but we wanted to go retro intense color for our team. wait till you see our jerseys.

This is my second experiment with a rear fender. Light and flexible. Black is too dull. I'm metro like that. :)

So does anyone know what works for making a good rear fender besides an old intertube sliced down the center?
I'm thinking of using a THE neoprene mudflap. The velcro will hold the top of the flap where the seat stay and link meet and I will attach the bottom of the flap at the yoke of the chain stays. Hopefully it will mold itself tightly around the link for max clearance, protect the links and pivot hardware, stop crap from bouncing in above the shock and detach with a couple of velcro straps. Should be easy and clean. :thumb:

I made a mudguard but on wet days you get a load of stuff bouncing down onto the shock from above between the seat stays. Kinda pointless.:(

It doesn't matter when you don't ride your bike. ;)

Looks like a scene from twilight.

I'm horrible at modifiying crap. Do you guys know if any companies will soon be making standard M9 rear fenders? I'm currently using a used magnum condom.

Spreading the joy!!:D

THE neoprene mudflap extra large.
Attached with no modifications. Covers everything and looks clean too!

Where from? color?

I see a 'canam yellow' being assembled right now, will get pics. Love that new color.
Picked up the black chrome as expected. Tani @ the Path surprisingly had one in stock. I'm sooo stoked on this bike.

Gotta say the factory settings from CCDB were garbage though. Backed everything out, 0 HSC, 3 clicks LSC, LSR 1, HSR 4. Seems better but still need to tinker with it once I get the #400 from Cane Creek. #450 seems a bit oversprung for my weight (185-190). I'm rocking a large at the brink of 5'11"/6'0" and its feels spot on, perhaps even more so than my round tube Large DHR.

All adjustments currently in the middle & 0 degree cup. This bike noticebly rails corners better than other DH bikes out there, or at least the other DH bikes I've ridden. Only caveat is you need speed or if feels like you're steering a pregnant cow. I'll throw a decent report on this b*tch once I get more saddle time.

i found them to be pretty good. i tweaked my LSR and HSR a bit, but felt the compression settings were pretty close to my liking.
i have my settings written down somewhere...

what are others using for their settings on the CCDB?

My M9 in Raw arrived last week :weee:

Parts to change:
Saddle --> Ti-Fly
Derailleur --> Supershort X.9

It rides great but after 2 seasons on a Freeride bike, it's really long and slack. But only rode it on a tight trail yet.

Sounds like an opportunity to steepen the head angle with the (AngleSet™) and slide your G3 forward to shorten the chainstay! ;)

I had the G3 on short and it was better. But i was too lazy to turn the -.5 cup. I cant wait to test it on real dh tracks in 2-3 months when the swiss alps hopefully will be snowfree :)
