Stating a well know fact, but food poisoning sucks. I spent all of last night being a human faucet every hour, on the hour. My entire body hurts so f*ing bad that I can barely get around the house. So not how I water to wind down my week...

Been there dude... sucks so bad. I felt like I was dying about once per hour, then I'd puke and feel okay for about 30 min then back to the dying feeling... and repeat.
The cold bathroom floor became my friend. That and Gatorade... Goes in cold, comes out hot, but it tastes about the same.

i lost ~8lbs last time I got a bout of the squirts. NICE. Eat a burrito, lose weight.
but eating one off the back of a truck felt so fvcking authentic...didn't it?
was there a couple of weeks ago. on the toilet while puking in the tub. yeah fun times.
last time i ate at the Grease Trucks @ Rutgers, i lost 7lbs out both holes.
What was the culprit?

I've had it twice that I can pinpoint to a source.
Years ago from a broasted chicken (or 'near' broasted) and about 6 months ago from some shellfish.
I always have some Tang in the house (
) 'cause I like to put it in my pack water sometimes. Thats the one thing that brought me back from the edge of death.

no way man-chego. It was from a legit restaurant. I eat chinese out the wong-foo-king truck all the time...mmm ginger scallion chicken.

I've had food poisoning twice. The first time I ended up in the emergency room via ambulance and would have died if I didn't get the shot. Second time was from bad sushi coming out of both ends simultaneously. Good times.

I must have a freaking iron stomach. I eat sketchy stuff (raw hamburger anyone?) and never get food poisoning.
Twice. Once from some chili dogs @ a team penning event and more recently from some frozen bertoli crap the wife bought. Second one was the worst because it was post accident but before I was totally sewn back up. Ever puked with your abdominal muscles bifurcated? Don't.

seared chicken livers almost made me rupture my ear drums through spirited vomiting.
I can barely walk because my lower back, hammy, legs are so tight. All peripheral from my back injury.
I found this out too while on a trip to baja (spectating the 09 baja 1000). Cept I would use the term 'poop' loosely. First time food poisoning, and its in mexico, and im drunk and holy crap trophy trucks are loud and bright
edit - strongly recommend blue gatorade; looks cool when it comes up, also, if this happens to you while camping:
-paper towels work really well for wiping
-have fun making steamy green puddles

plattekill chili. Out ~8 hours after you eat it, comes out the same consistency. I don't think I'd ever set foot in old blue otherwise.
This stuff works! It has saved me before. Gets your stomach back in line quicker.
I ended up rocking Gu and Clif Blocks once my stomach settled somewhat. I figure if they are mostly liquid, they are easier to puke up and more likely to be absorbed. I think it worked, but I still feel like isht today... At least I'm back at work.

1)ARBY's of Cedar Bluff Rd in Knoxville,TN
Puke every :30 & crapping for 5 hrs & finally went to the hospital.
2)Japanese stir fry with cooked pineapple in it.
That was two days of misery & lost 10#'s.
3)Dairy Queen combo meal or BBQ sandwitch at fairgrounds.
24 hour of major intestional war.
4)Steak & Shake at Turkey Creek in Knoxville,TN.
I still don't feel right after this one.Three days of puking & crapping.Horrible food poisoning.
Let's just say i am paranoid to eat fast food anymore.

Great northern, butter beans, Kidney, red, pinto, black-eyed, black, garbanzo... all are great.

Oh, got a good dish for you.
Saute at least a whole bulb of crushed garlic, add in a few tsp of dill near the end. Add about 2-3 cups pasta sauce once the garlic is browned.
Prepare some Great northern or butter beans
Mix the beans and sauce mix together in a casarole dish and bake (covered)
45min if using canned beans... if using soaked dry beans then add extra water and cook till they are tender.
