Well after a LOOOOONG hiatus, i finally got her back together, the initial build was more or less the "same" but a few minor things didnt work well for the street/pack side of things (so all the old stuff went onto a killswitch) Took me forever to get the money to finish it, but as of tonight-its done.

Superco Charger 26"
Fox 831 kashima, factory lowered to 80mm
Singlespeed i9 wheels to atomlab pimplite rims (the only set in the world) 1*
Crank bros 5050xx pedals
Still dont know what cranks, profile eventually
Colony BB and Cane Creek headset
Deity bars/stem, cut a tad
Juicy 7 brake on the rear with a 6 inch disk
Intense MicroKnobby tires (gen 2)
ODI grips/bar ends
Half link chain
Sprokey Balboa chainring with Gusset rear
Odyssey Jr. seat on a deity post

26.79 lbs

1* These wheels are special, because its a singlespeed hub, which has real big flanges, possibly bigger than alot of other singlespeed/driver hubs. The rims were a very limited edition run, where atomlab made them with NORMAL spoke hole drilling, they are still available, but only with torque nipples, so you CANNOT put a colored pimplite to a i9 wheel, these were sitting at diablo and given out for prizes, they are very old(although never ridden)

It is just a hair over 12 inches. id say 12.1-12.2

The fox 831 is set to 80mm and has 3.25 inches of gold showing with nobody on the bike, the tires are micro knobbies. If you were sitting on the bike, it would definitely be 12 inches or maybe just a cvnt hair less.

Every single one of his seats are absolutely atrocious. However, even with all of his bling, some of his parts serve a functioning purpose. (Wtf is up with that?)
Dont you start in with me because i actually ride my bike! :p Drop in tomorrow, show up if you can

You should leave a message when you call Superco if you want information or recommendations for your bike. Or email doc at ridesuperco dot com. Doc's on his own now and doesn't get to the phones and email until after 4pm MST. But he's there, every single day, seven days a week and will get back to you if you leave a message or send an email.

SUPERCO is one of those companies that make me proud to be associated with MTBMX.

Back in '06 when I first got on this board and first bought a 26" . . . I still had a lot of that old bmx grudge against mtb (that came from the late 80's and 90's, when the mtb industry appeared to truly not give a shlt about bmx style riding).

I feel like they're one of the ones I can point to and say, see . . . . shlt is legit.

And is your fork really so soft as to sag that much when you get on?
I ride it locked out, its only there if i huck the gnar, i figure the tires and whatnot can acount for .1 inches of flex and sag, of course thats only a guess, but you get the idea

Dope build man. Have fun getting your sack sucked in between the tire and seat though.. Seen it happen with them that close together. Not pretty.

unsure, its so low to the ground, that i *think* even if i slipped the pedals, i wouldn't even touch the frame, i feel like its getting nutted riding a scooter-impossible. Time will tell-hopefully not :( but we will see. With the seat that low i can get turn downs and i dont sit on it anyway.

Yeah hard to find a mtb that is turndownable I agree. In a perfect world everyone could land with their knees locked and not have to absorb any impact. Until then your knees bend and in most cases you cant keep your feet on the ground on either side of your bike for long.. (unless you can somehow land running with your bike still under you) All I know is it almost happened to me on someone's bike and Ive never wanted to take the chance of losing my nads again..:twitch: Just a warning.

Here's how it happens:

You slip a pedal or two OR you see yourself coming up short and overcompensate by pushing the bike foreward and since your seat is out of the way, you land with your ass on your tire.

Your tire is rolling and wil be pushed to roll as soon as you land.

Your tire will then want to push the goods foreward.

It WILL push the goods foreward with much more force than what your squishy junk can withstand.

That tiny little gap becomes a one way street since once the goods are trapped, you're not going to duplicate the force with which that tire slammed the goods in that opening so consider yourself mated.

Demo/superco hybrid babies in 9 months.

The bigger the gap, the less the pinch and the easier the extraction. It's just science. At least you'll provide entertainment for everyone you're riding with as you run around with your bike stuck to your crotch.

I never really post my 'thoughts,' but damn!
That is a sweet f'ing build. Raw frame with red wheels. Very nice dude.

I never thought of the whole stuck nutsack thing. I better double check my clearance.

Make sure you guys don't jerk it before you go ride, haha, your low hanger may get pulled all the way through the downstay!

my seat is just as low and i have yet to pinch the boyz. So either i have good luck or just some nice high hanging non saggy balls :thumb:
This has been my expierience as well, knocks on wood, i havent had a problem, i dont think i have particularly awesome luck, nor abnormally tiny balls, but hey, what can ya do?

As for the seat, no matter how many of you hate it, its staying until it rips

i have a friend with the same frame and he had his inner thigh get sucked between seat and wheel when he slipped his pedals, pretty nasty. luckily it wasnt his boys that got sucked in

your bike is sexy to the point that there is a tsunami in my pants.... anyone who bagged on it is jealous. the frame is gorgeous the fox hella cool and love the rims/wheel-set. nice looks but functional.
as for everyone worried about your junk... with a sexy ride like that i am sure your junk will get plenty of attention from the ladies;)

This is why I made the permanent switch to 24" wheels. I still hit my ass on the back tire but not hard enough to get the junk sucked into the seat.

fashion over function...

every one of your bikes is built on pure color coordination...
Thats correct, i should have gotten a kona stuff with outlaws and an argyle, who would put a 831 on a superco, with singlespeed i9s,its not like you get a fork designed for jumping, and wheels with big flanges and low weight

don't let anyone get to you, your ride is cool.... the kona stuff is not bad, but your superco is better. i have a stuff, but like my commencal cg and norco more.
i dig the fox fork!
plus why not have a bike with function and looks....:thumb:
