The fun I would have with skills like that!...I could literally go anywhere and enjoy anything on an all mountain bike!

P.S. Where are the Spanish chicks? :(

I live really close to that place  and go there in the summer, good weather and rocky mountains, not a bad combination.

Awesome vid and I love the fact that you have no idea what to expect from him other than the fact that you'll be stoked from watching it.

Did anyone see the vid of him winning the mid-velodrome race that Red Bull held in London earlier this year. You should check that out...

Sorry for the Pinkbike link....

He also won the Cobble Wobble hill climb in Frome in the UK. Skills and fitness.

Oh and he always comes across as down to earth and super humble. Proper Northerner like.

Is that a new manitou fork on the front of that thing? Or is that the circus?
edit: looks longer travel..

I don't know but it seems that the bike setup is very stiff, he is using something like 50% of the travel in drops where most of us would Bottom out. I guess that it has to be that way to do all that Trial stuff.

Amazing riding, never seen somebody "flow" a trials line quite like he did in the earlier part of the video. Side note, bike is a nugget, not a AM rig.

I'm floored by his skill, smoothness, creativity on and off the bike. I've enjoyed pretty much every one of his videos. I'm not into the fixie tricks either (in fact I find it really annoying), but I own one for commuting. Every once in a while, I'll forget I'm riding fixed and try and bunny hop onto a curb or something and just about kill myself in the process. What he does on the fixie blows my mind more than the DH/AM/trials stuff... it just showcases very clearly how skilled he is.

I love his drop-ins from a disaster position into the huge boulders. Soooo gnarly!

In my opinion few people, if any, can match Akrigg as an all rounder, he's like a new version of Hans Rey.

Former trials champ, Masters category DH champ, qualified well at Megavalanche, won that redbull minidrome event, won a hill climb contest etc

Such a shame that all the Pinkbike kids argue over who's better Danny Mac or Chris Akrigg, rather than agreeing they're both super talented

The flow he has through some of those sections is phenomenal alright. There is a video of his where he is doing downhill mainly, some of the lines he takes in that video are equally as impressive. Plus it has a slayer soundtrack to add to the awesomeness.
