I hear DelBosco is there and qualified. Not seeing him on the results so maybe just 4X? Look out, he's coming off of winning the Worlds in Ski Cross!

young Rude embarrassing a lot of fast guys
Congrats to this young Rude feller, but I'd hold off on saying he embarrassed anyone who showed up and did their best. A bit disrespectful to those who sacrificed much to attend and gave their all if you ask me.

The only ones who should be embarrassed are those who didn't prepare to the best of their ability, those who didn't try with all their might, or those who didn't represent their sponsors to the fullest.

Congrats Richie !!

Richie Rude is still too young for the WC's. Last year he pulled a top 5 at The Bromont Canada Cup....he had to give back his UCI points. The juniors can relax for another year.

TRW is locked and registered for the Plattekill ProGRT.

I'm assuming that you said the same thing about Gwin when he got 10th at MSA at his first race?

He embarrassed quite a few big names that have seasons of pro racing all over the world, under their belts. Not because of the "reasons" that you mentioned, but because Richie has incredible skills st 16 yrs old.

media blackout
there's no "embarassing" going on here guys. he didn't pants anyone on the podium. He didn't make any "yo mama" jokes about the winner, and he didn't post drunken pictures of the other racers from the night before. He's a young racer, and had a good result against a lot of more seasoned racers. This doesn't make him an "embarasser", this makes him a good racer, and a contender.

For those of you who haven't had the good fortune of meeting Richie, he's one of the nicest kids out there. He's not out to embarrass people, he's out to ride bikes, and win races.

That is a pretty good showing for him. I think Nico back in the mid nineties beating the top Pro's times while still being a junior was probably worse.:D

I wanna know what this course looked like? No real video or pictures out yet!

good to see sylvestri up near the top.

Also, remember when there was a big debacle on RM about how riffle didn't deserve to be sponsored by giant and how much he sucked and how much better memmlegnar was then him? Not taking anything away from M. but doesn't this make 2/2 that riffle has been alot faster?

If i was a pro and came through with dead silence but still movement, id probably loose my focus and crash
That's what I'd blame it on, too. Other times, I just blame the breeze blowing through the trees.

I remember when all the fanboys find reasons to hate on anything, or anyone that was different...His shoes are blue, he has tattoos, and he has a mustache! How dare he!?

Rad to see a podium sweep!

How about the manchild?! I know it's pages late...but that kid is out of hand!

I remember a few guys mentioning they were impressed, but don't recall anyone looking particularly embarrassed.

Nor did Gwin look too embarrassed the next weekend when he finished in the 30's or 40's.
