Good morning all! Had a good ride last night, finally decided not to be a lazy ass and pedaled to the trailhead. Turned out to be a fairly good warm up. Went climbing as well and climbed my first two 5.7s. Almost pooped my pants when I got to the top of one and was standing on a ledge 40' up looking down at everyone on the ground.

Ride again tonight if the weather holds out.

If you had actually done that from up there it is called (by us crazy ice climbers) launching a mud falcon.

vacation was awesome.
went out on the boat with the 'rents, took a catamaran to swim with rays, ate lots, drank lots, stand paddle boarded, swam, came in 2nd in a scrap heap challenge, spent lots of time with the fam which is always a blast. moms had a great birthday & life is good.

first real day of work today. boo yeah.

Good morning.
Gave my two weeks notice yesterday, so not feeling particularly motivated at work anymore. I also haven't shaved since last week...
Had a good hammer ride last night on my single speed. Lots of climbing. Pretty sure I'm going to need to drop a 20T from the 18T if I want to keep my knees.

I was the only Pro Woman that raced the Super D races this past weekend so I won! The courses were totally different with Saturday having one steep climb and some tight muddy singletrack that you could rail. Sunday was dryer with little steep climbs and tons of ruts you had to negotiate at mach speeds. Good times.

Just not anytime soon though, it feels like I got kicked in the taint. 2 days of discomfort is a small price to pay compared to a few years of a crying baby.

I've never made a 20 day record. Closest I have come was a 19 day in a row blacked out drunk-fest. Some of the best times I will never remember.
