Good Morning!

Up a little early this morning...my eyelids just popped open like one of those cartoon shades that fly up and go "flappa-flappa-flappa."

So I've got that going for me.

Been busy lately trying to track down a code gremlin in the Subie. I'm getting a cylinder 4 misfire, so I switched wires and plugs and checked coilpacks...nuthin' there, so today's project is to switch the #4 injector with #2 and see if the code follows it over to that cylinder. I've read where the stock injectors are a bit on the weak side for that cylinder, so we'll see what that does.

Other than that, I don't want to even think about replacing a burned exhaust valve.

On the upshot.....we've has some really beautiful weather lately. :thumb:

Hey....wanna see some cool pump track action? OK....check it out. My son and his best friend were getting in a few laps the other day....

Morning!

Woke up at 3am ready to go and I have nothing to do today.

Got an interview at the LBS for a second job to help with the no photo client days. Hopefully in a month I will be riding a new Giant Reign X from that!

Hey, me too...but my awakening was dog related. One can not sleep through the soft, yet high pitched whining and wimpering of a dog that needs to go potty. It's like once that sound hits your ears, there is no chance of falling back to sleep without dealing with it. So, I was out of bed at 5:00 tending to the dog. Good doggie.

Did 5.3 miles in 50 minutes on the treadmill last night. That's not bad.

Aaaaaanywho it's a wet and rainy Wednesday, and I am in a good mood. :weee:

Good morning all! Had a good ride with Crabjoe last night, happy to report that after 10 years and 2 re-works, I have finally cleaned a section of trail that has plagued me all these years. Unfortunately its a fraction as difficult as it was before, but I guess erosion prevention is more important than providing a challenge.

Gooooooooooooooooooooood morning Monkeys. Finished the taxes last night and got'em sent off. Now I have to make some crap for my "self evaluation" that's due as part of our review process. The part that always messes with me is where I have to lay out plans for professional development in the next year. I want a "I want to coast for the next 10 years until I can retire." option.

Morning all.
Tried In N Out Animal-style fries last night for the first time. Pretty much awesome.

Not much else, hoping to ride today. And tomorrow. And the next day.

Ladies and gentlemen, you are looking at the 2011 Roller Rumble Champion. That's right, I took the overall prize last night. I won a handmade necklace award, beer, and a ride on this with free beer:

Man, skateboard crap is CHEAP. Maybe I'm just used to dumping untold sums of money into projects, but I can't get over how cheap skate crap is.

So I bought a blank/no-name setup off ebay for $35. Rock solid setup for the price, I was blown away. So I went to the skate shop to see what upgrade items would run to build a totally pimp setup.

Thunder Titanium Light trucks are only $60 for the pair. Ti blend, forged baseplates, Ti hollow king pin and axle. Seriously light and even my fat ass would break these in my most agro of days.

So even with the best gear, a pimp setup is less than $200 TOPS.

My (correct size) trucks will be here tomorrow and I might spring for the titaniums to lighten the board up next week, but I am for sure getting some harder wheels ($35 for a set). Sweet.

I once went to a steak house in Indian Wells after a long day at Mammy (I can't remember if it was the brewery). Serious disappointment ensued.

In other news. Getting ready for Sea Slaughter!
That sucks.

And awesome about the otter! What class/age are you racing? Have I met you before?
