first question, wat guide you running how you liking it,any clearance ishues

second, fox 40 owners ( prefer 2011 owners ) does your fork makes noise, not compression noise, but like if you let the bumper hit the frame will you hear like stuff inside is hitting the stanchions and making noise >>????

wen compressing does it make that typical boxxer spring clunk noise???? and feel it for that slight second

final question, people with SAINT CRANKS AND 83 MM CUPS

How you running your bb spacers.

THANKS A MILLION

I run the SRS and older style LG1 because its easier to shim it around to keep the noise down, compared to a newer style LG1+.

Fox 40s have spring rattle, its a known issue, and many come with extra shrink wrap. The stanchion is 40mm the spring is 38-39. It will rattle like all hell if you dont wrap it, but, the positive side to this is that its only noise, nothing bad for the health of the fork.

83 saint cranks need 2 spacers on the drive and 1 on the non drive, no exceptions from what i know

Word. What he said. Direct instructions from the manual.

I'm running a MRP G2 SL and haven't ran into any issues. Also ran a LG1 for 2 season without qualms.

My 40 makes so much noise I thought my headset was coming loose.

I LOVE SURREY
1) Running LG1+ on my M9. No problems and no clearance issue (36t ring)
2) Had that noise in my old Fox 40 2009, but my new 2011 Fox 40 kashima is quiet. Not even a compression or rebound noise.
