have you ridden on it much yet? how long will it hold air for? I had this problem and pumping up the tire to 40psi and doing some quick runs helped it to "shape" itsself. brought the pressure back down and all was good.

It could just be some friction that is causing it to hang up. The best bet to put some soapy water on the bead of the tire and pump them up to their max pressure. I usually pump mine up to 60psi for a few minutes before dropping them back down to riding pressure.

I cleaned the hole rim ( lots of mud and dust ) and cleaned the bead, air compressed everything, holding air, gona let it sit with time as mentioned,so far its holding.

I think my Minions needed a little extra PSI lube and time to seat properly.

I had this issue with Minions on Mavic 823 rims, gave me so many headaches I sold the tires and mounted Michelin UST tires with minimal effort.

The problem is that I prefer Maxxis tires. Michy and Huchinson tires work MUCH better with UST but I just like maxxis.
Well maybe when hutch releases that cut spike proto that has been floating around in their super sticky rubber compound I will switch back ;)

Minion and 832 user here...

I just pump them up until they seat in... Might be 40 psi or 50, 60,... whatever.

Just pump them up until they jump into their spot. Worked always for me.

I use the same procedure on Muddy Marry's - also works like charm.
