TEMECULA, CA (BRAIN)Craig "Stikman" Glaspell is stepping down as marketing director of Intense Cycles. This Friday will be his last day.
"It has been a fantastic ride with the maker of the finest mountain bikes, but an opportunity came up that is best for myself and my family," Glaspell said in an email to colleagues. "I am still going to be working with the world's fastest racers though, so stay tuned for that announcement soon.
"I have been a part of the Intense brand in one way or another for over 15 years, so the relationship with Intense and Jeff Steber will always continue," he added.
Glaspell took over as marketing director in March 2010.
Glaspell was best known as a team manager and wrench for some of the best racers in the world, including Brian Lopes and Leigh Donovan, who later became his wife.
