I find that its better to have 2 of the same bike rather than 2 different ones. If you noticed at highland GRT i had a little incident that destroyed the rear wheel, front tire, and front rotor of the green bike, I still made my race run because i had the other bike. If i **** something up, im not **** out of luck, i can just jump onto the other 1 and the only different thing is the color. I will hear alot of **** for it, but i think that it was the best decision for ME.
Rad. Are you professionals?

couldn't you just do what pretty much everyone on the race scene does and.. carry spares? or did mom say she wanted to make you look factory(do factory riders even have a 2nd bike fully built up?) on the circuit?

if you buy a fully build bike it cost you the same as spares without a frame so wouldnt you have two full builds if you could?

IDK where you buy your bikes, but here where i live, a wheel set and a rear shock (if needed at all) are considerably cheaper than a fully built Demo. what else would you need to keep you rolling after something goes wrong????

mud i know how mutch you paid for your demo so we both know that for that amount of money you get a spare set of whels, a shock and maybe a fork :D

in addition, if you know where to shop, what to look for, you can usually break even or sometimes make a profit if you sell the X early enough. i have to assume at least some of you work at a shop. Yes i can get an entire bikes worth of parts, but (if) i break something before my race run, i wouldnt get to take it because i would be working on it, i feel this is the best choice FOR ME.

Its too early to tell ya about the seals, but both forks are 2012s, and with the limited ride time i have on them, i will say that they blow the 2010s i had out of the water. The inverted damper is what id like to blame for this, but, im sure the kashima didnt hurt either

I see you got a custom link in the back. What travel dou you ride in the rear? 230mm setting?
Are there some other "customizations"? I really like to hear something about these custom settings for the teamriders.

Sick bike and slack as hell!:thumb:
With that link and a 10.5" shock the bike has 210mm of travel and works much better in very rough situations with holes, g-outs and stuff. It has a 0mm bb drop and 425mm CS. The team guys run 445mm CS length and one degree steeper.
