Divide frame spacing by two, then substract the distance between the inner part of the right dropout to the middle of the sprocket. The closer that number is to 56, the better your chainline will be.

Edit: If it is closer to 51, you'll need to get a new BB, but since the gambler is a 150mm frame, you'll probably gonna be arround 56.

i have a 73mm bottom bracket, from a Scott Voltage FR.
they dont fit. the spindle is about 15mm too narrow.

the manual says 83mm shell width.but doesnt mention anything about the spindle.
when i check online, there is 83mm/51mm and 83/56mm... am not sure which one i need (if its one of those).

it seems nobody has that bb in the entire country (ill have to import it), and id really like to have my new frame built up before next weekend (big group ride we planned 2 months ago)... so i might just hit a machine shop and have them make me a spindle 15mm longer in solid steel (just in case) while the correct bottom bracket arrives...

is this a good idea? or i might crash and die in flames when it fails?????
