apologies for posting this in the DH forum, but i'm looking for a (relatively) quick response time...

anyone know anything about the WTB Laser TCS Trail rims? I'm considering them as an alternative to my Stans rims that I've burped a few too many times for my liking... I don't know anyone that runs WTB rims, let alone the TCS version. I'm wondering if they're solid, resilient, stiff, long-lasting etc... any input on those particular rims or WTB rims in general would be great. they're for my trail bike.

thanks

Given that their TCS solution is just Stan's, I'd look into the actual rim details.

I have had great success with the WTB Laserdisc FR on my DH bike and the Laserdisc Trail rims on my all mountain bike.I never once burped any air,no big dings and stay true if you keep on your spoke tension.
I am 215lbs and had been going through Mavic rims but I can really recommend the WTB rims.
Not sure about the new ones though hopefully they are like the Laserdisc series.
