Complete Nevil materials/catalog....
A few things from Battle MTB......

Some Ted Wojcik Soft Trac-DS stuff.....

From the Spooky Catalog...

Chris- "Frank, don't you worry about Altzheimers?"

Frank- "No. I don't think inhaling Altzheimers dust causes Aluminum. No. Yeah. Wait. What did I just say???"

A buddy of mine had blue kooka cranks on this bike. Super stiff ride, but it went uphill like nobody's business.

ha! that's awesome. I used to love the killer V. Cdale used to have a "beast of the east" that I thought was perfect...super high BB of like 13" on a rigid bike. They had the coolest names for their crap too, headshok fatty, pepperoni, p-bone (or something like that).

Yeah, I wanted the Beast of the East really bad! Cdale had some flavor in those days.

Yeah... that thing looks mint... That marz was awesome as well....

And it's hidden, and not even in the title of the sale....
Wondered how long it would take until it surfaced on this thread.
honestly, it's for sale and my friend owns it, so I didn't want to spam...but all this talk about spooky bikes, it's an uber classic ride....too good not to post.

After the owner of that bicycle gets back to me (and raises the price) I'm going to see how long it takes some British dude to buy it when I post the ad on our facebook page.
Someone will go mental.

Posted on FaceBook at 1:14pm and tweeted it to @dirtmagazine.
I hope Woody let's us know how long it takes to turn it.

I think Dave's had that bike up for sale for nearly a year now- let's see if this helps!

Yeah... surprised to see it not sold. Not so much in fashion these days, but the right buyer would snap it up in a second.

Good luck on the Spooky sale, hopefully some euro will pick it up, they love old US-made stuff.

I sold my old Machine Tech brakes last year to some guy from the UK for $225. Not actual pic, mine were mint, basically never used (because they sucked!):

Good grief, no wonder the US derailleur business flopped. What an over-engineered piece of crap.
as recently as a few years ago, White Industtries still had a bunch of those and were willing to sell them. FAR less than what this seller is asking for them.

I actually knew a guy who had that setup.

Apoarently the yeti arc frame i have is a 2002. Not full on retro, but older than i thought. Currently a raw aluminum frame. Considering having it re-powdercoated.

If you paint it anything other than turquoise and yellow I'm going to slap you.

Used to have ceramic rims.. loved the look & braking!
I still run ceramics and vee's. You don't get the silky smooth feel of a hydraulic system but I have never ridden a disk system that has the same level of modulation.

I do on my XC race bike too. XTR Vs on 517 ceramics. Work great for what I use 'em for. Hydro discs on everything else for sure though.
