Hello, i used to post here alot. Many times to share the bikey goods, and work on the hobby of photography along the way.
Anyways, i always thought videography is the shiz. Photography is really a lazy artist's platform to capture images that emote whatever response. It's actually a crapload of work though, and it can really put a damper on having fun during a ride.
So i'm pretty stoked as i've really been having a fun time with the GoProHD. i've noticed a ton of folk having them, and as far as taking video during rides, it is SOOOO much less work than taking photographs while mt. biking.
So anyways i'm among a fairly stout group of local mt. bike riders engaged in active volunteering at Duthie. It's been a real success story for our independent mt. bike group Evergreen Mountain Bike Alliance based out of Washington.
There are numerous stories i could share about that place, but ultimately perhaps they are best left to just letting the videos do the talking.
The first video was the reason i went ahead and purchased the GoPro, was for the capability to take time lapse shots. This is a five minute video of the trail build, which tells a nice synopsis of the build, whilst building a berm.

Miguel and his dog Thunder are big contributors to the effort of slalom trail. This video is a disaster, and is so dumb, but it makes me smile everytime i see Thunders blurry floppy ears.
A video sampling the trail. Was very cool running into a friend to show her the trail, she wasn't aware i was filming, so it was cool to get a nice unfiltered response that was so positive.
A video of a run down one of the more popular trails at Duthie, and for good reason. Rider's RM handle is Chainwhip, he's been on this board for a little while too.
