I LOVE this track so much, the fact that this one corner is the height of a 2 storey house and is actually one of the easiest corners on the hill says so much about how good this race is gonna be. I dunno how these top boys do it, heroes!

Someone pissed in your Cheerio's this morning?

Fine. Future Freecaster discussions to take place here:

And, just to get things back on track:

Oooooh, yeah...

I'm aware that there is a Junior title.

Rephrase: Has a junior ever won the overall at worlds?
this has been discussed previously but...junior and elite are two separate races run at different times. no overlap or ability for a jr to win the elite race. fastest time? sure, but it won't mean anything official.

No such thing as an overall. A junior wins the junior title, and a senior wins the senior title. Each has their own separate race. It's been this way since WC #1.

re. freecaster and uci....talked to the owner of FC at crankworx, and he said the UCI dropped a demand of $100,000 on the table for broadcast rights next year, as they already make no money off it freecaster's decision wasn't a hard one, unfortunately....as like all sports orgs, it's an old boys club who thinks people should pay them to sit around and be act like they're important......freecaster and the other web content over the past few years have been the best thing to happen to dh racing, and as usual the UCI doesn't get it, at all.
This is exactly the case.

I was asked not to mention specific dollar amounts, or exactly what the reasons were as of yet, so I didn't. It's pretty simple. You guys can bitch and moan all you want, but certain business relationships mean some of us can and can;t say certain things. Deal with it.

they finally have done it (was in the works for some time now) - carbon front - poor Trek:D
??? why ? I for one would choose a Session over the Demo any day of the year...that is of course if I could afford one.:thumb:

About time they jumped on the bandwagon but it doesnt change the fact that

A: Its a Specialized
B: Its an FSR design
C: Its still a Demo 8
D: I proly wont like the way it rides that much;)

Now the real question here is : WILL SAM SMASH THE COMPETITION OR NOT??????!

Aurum-esque colour scheme going on there... To that, I say "meh".

But who REALLY cares what their bike looks like, am I right?

Sounds like the UCI are being awkward regarding filming again. From the Dirt site:

(I know what you’re thinking…these chit chat shenanigans are all right…but when are we going to see some action…some real riding…some steep Champery descending? Eh? Well, soon hopefully…we’re having filming rights issues at the moment but hopefully we can resolve them…and as soon as that’s done…then BOOM!!! We’ll bring you the action)
