Although it is a carbon 29er trail bike, I think people are going to want to see this- goo.gl/UEa9A

The Ibis Ripley has been in prototype stage for ~ 4 years(!) so it feels really nice to let people start seeing it. It uses an all-new dw-link suspension layout named dw-2XC in reference to it's 2 eccentric pivots.

We've been working on this bike for what seems like forever. Far before it was fashionable or even heard of to have a shock clevis, and one of the first bikes since the I-Drive and Decathlon to use any type of eccentric link. Obviously more is better so we have two of them!

Also, Morewood should have a couple of new and interesting things to show, one of them definitely in line with more of the people on Ridemonkey DH's preferences. I won't spoil the surprise completely though. :)

Apologies for the sensible request, but I'd like to see the paintjobs for the 2012 661 Evo helmets (or perhaps they have a replacement?). Simply for the boring reason that I'm thinking of getting a new one but I don't like the 2011 graphics. Cheers. :)

I want to see a carbon starter, a main course of carbon with a side of carbon and carbon for dessert and a drink of carbon to finish it all off.

It must have been a question of time when you DW got a chance to use eccentric pivots for DW-Link, isn't it? Very interesting. For DW-Link I find it being an evolution, for YETI it's more like revolution :D

That thing looks pretty rad (well, for a 29er), and I think I'm not the only person here who's totally stoked on it being "34mm fork stanchion approved" because nothing is more annoying than frames not being approved for the right size fork stanchions... :)

I think an electric Dh bike is pretty dumb. Its completely taking out the fun and adrenaline rush you get when pedaling through rocks. Truthfully its a cool idea for people who enjoy there DH bike as an everday rider, but hate having to pedal it. That is an upside to the electric bike

But what I would love to see at Eurobike is the 2012 Bike I just ordered. I ordered a 2012 Tr450 and TOP from transition and i would love to see just what they look like

You are looking at it the wrong way. It is a DH bike that eliminates the need for shuttles or a chairlift. As with anything electric the weight of the battery and the battery life will determine how succesfull it is. It is a very small niche in an already small niche market but it is a really cool idea.

I'm gonna poo myself if it's a carbon DH bike (highly doubt it) ... since I just got a new Makulu!

They are probably "breakaway" pins, like most other CB stuff. :thumb:

It just looks like the just added more weight to the old mallets. I don't see the benefit of the pins, however I am NOT Rock Jesus or any of other DH messiahs. It just may be that I'm not holy enough to comprehend.

If you've raced clipped in, or watched racing long enough, you'll know that there are times when you're going through rough sections unable to clip back in (after a corner for instance) with your foot perilously without any real support. I’ve seen Gee attribute a lost race to not being able to clip back in. So there is plenty of logic behind it (it’s also the reason why they have these ‘platforms’ on DH pedals in the first place). - that's my take on it.
