Morning monkeys!

Went to to parent's house and did some yard work yesterday after work. I was reminded how much I hate yard work. Had a good "high impact" workout last night, got to beat up some black belts.

I actually have to go out into the field and watch people work today. I hope the predicted rain holds off until I'm off the right of way.

Morning monkeys. I wish I was at Interbike :( but off to school I go! TV guy is supposed to come and fix our dish tonight (finally)! It'll be weird to have TV again after going without for 2 weeks! Anyway, must pour coffee and travel to work.

Hola Thursday, people! Up and at 'em! jhfc wake up already. :rolleyes:

This week is flying by, which is surprising since it's a rare five day work week this summer. Ran 11 miles after work yesterday. Not my best run but still good. Not sure what I'll do after work today...I'll have to see how the weather plays out.

Low 70s for a high and rain today. A MUCH welcome relief after 100 days of 100+ temps and the worst drought in decades. And I get to spend it all sitting in my office... :rant:

Doc officially confirms what I already knew. I have intestine creeping out between the muscle in my old emergency exploratory surgery abdominal area. Waiting on a call for consult with a surgeon. Bummed. :(

Spent a second night walking my uncle's 'hood looking for Kona and putting up lost dog signs with her "brother" Ernie, while hubby and her other "brother" (the tiny human) went the opposite direction with signs. Talked to lots of people, still no dog. Will probably go again tonight. Everyone we talk to is super nice, I just wish my girl would show her furry face so we could get a lead.

Yea, not that kind of hernia you sicko. :busted: If I push on my stomach above my belly button I can feel something.....slither.....back in. Not painful, but weird as all get out. Thinking I must have busted a seam or something from when they put me back together the last time.

I slept well, got up early and all 4 traffic signals on my way to the dentist where in my favor. Not only that - I was 10 minutes early to my appointment and they were ready for me. So awesome being me. :)
