Wooden Berm

Wait, you want to put it on a slope that's 35 degrees? That's extremely steep. The slopestyle courses I've ridden looked like they were about 6-10 degrees when measured from top to bottom. Also, almost all berms are on areas which are flat or near flat (see the pictures above).

Could you give us a better description of where you want to put this berm? How fast will you be going when you get to it? Do you want to enter with the fall line and then exit across the fall line? Is there a good downslope after the berm? What comes before the berm?

Something to consider with a 270 berm is that it's going to eat up a bunch of speed compared to a 90-180 berm. If you watch this video starting at about 50 seconds in, you'll see how much speed their berm eats up. These guys are absolutely hauling when the enter the berm, and are struggling to clear the next jump afterwards.

The hill is on a 16 degree slope as i measured (sorry). I want the riders to stay on the fall line and exit on it as you said. After the berm is a downward slope which is a bit steeper then the berms building site.

Sounds like you are going to have to make it pretty big since it is on the fall-line like that. Otherwise you would slam into it and go OTB.

I need that pool slide from the video to conquer my fear of doubles.
