Mechanical Disk Brake Problems

I have a 6 month old Trek Marlin with the Tektro Novela mechanical disk brakes, the front wheel has what I've been told is an alignment issue pretty much since a month or 2 after i purchased the bike. Try as I might to align the disk rotor properly it will always go back to rubbing against the brake pads. Now the problem has gotten to the point (cause i crashed the bike) where its constantly squeaking, Ive swapped my rotors cleaned my brake pads and still i get lots of noise, unless I'm rolling fast.

My question is, is there a way to fix the caliper to keep the rotor from hugging the pad without buying a rebuild kit. Or are these just crappy brakes that should be replaced with a better product.

I herd if you take the pads out and put a small sticker on the back of the pad it will slightly toe in the brake. I haven't tried it but it sounds like it would work haha.

Fixed the problem, had to use Shims with the skewers. For whatever reason when the skewers were locked the rotor was pushed towards one side of the caliper, so far that it was grinding against the actual caliper not the brake pad.
