got a new stumpjumper today put MAYBE 10 miles on it (8 were paved riding with my girls to soccer practice) and OMG MY A$$!!!

mine came with a specialized brand Henge seat. even says body geometry on it but it sure wasn't my body.

any recommendations? I'm hurting through my diaper shorts! THX!

ok that was kinda funny but i was hoping for ideas on make and models that have worked well for others. they all look the same to me.

@ sanjuro- i did tonight. was so excited yesterday i didn't even notice it was set too flat. adjusted and much better but will see after more miles. then tonight loaded it up and was heading for the first real ride and didnt make it a block before i noticed i lost a wheel bearing in my only vehicle equipped to transfer the bike. to be honest i almost risked firey death and went anyway. So day two and all i can report is that the stumpjumper kicks ass on the way to u14 girls soccer practice, it made mincemeat out of my paved neighborhood (even the technical sections where they haven't put the new tar over the cracks yet), and if you spend all your available cash on new bikes for you and the wife, make sure your truck's running right so you don't get stuck shredding pavement. this sucks...

saddles are like opinions, insert whatever work for you to finish this analogy.

what works for me might be entirely wrong for you.

as an example, i know a guy that rides centuries on a fizik arione while i cant go across town on one without my nuts going numb. the only successful way to find the correct saddle for you is to go out and try them.

Great success with Selle italia saddles. I also like WTB saddles. I don't like Titec saddles.

That helps you precisely zero....go get fitted, or buy one and hope it works.
