I bought some bars on Ebay that bro-bro never shipped. Took filing a claim to finally get the bars shipped. The paint was so thick on them that they wouldn't fit the stem. Basically, dude is trouble. Funny thing is that he accepted my friend request on Facebook and would answer frame-building questions (but then wanted to bill me for consulting) but would ignore any question about our Ebay situation. Very strange MO. (Serious) Drug abuse is a very plausible explanation.

Ha ha cool, I had that problem a few pages back, are they the candy style paint? They are a nice width and a nicely shaped bar but from memory they are nudging .5kg, Gusset bars are the way to go.

Too bad he can't even build a frame properly so everything lines up. Both of my nem pros were so poorly designed it was sad.

this. and also because he doesn't realize the person who "promises" the delivery date in the end doesn't have control over problems such as strikes, financing difficulty, etc.
So... Why do you still have them listed as a sponsor?
i just read that remark about 787's and thats irratating, I am an aircraft mechanic, i dont work on a 787 but i do work on the biggest choppers in north america(sikorsky S-64) skycranes. and ive built a few bike frames out of hobby that i dj with. aircraft construction is a hell of a lot more critical and exact than any bike frame will ever be. the guy is a complete moron

he actually uses a smooth wet stone to slowly cut the shapes. Similar to how glaciers formed a lot of the earths surface. Expect the same timeframes.

Wow..I wish I would of read this post before I sent him a $800 deposit for a red ,white and blue fixie frame. I had it custom made for the Occupy Wall Street bike polo tournament. Now Im gonna have to wait for my next two unemployment checks to clear before I can purchase another one. Bummer.

Experience with Brad Hodges / Nemesis Project.
This is my experience with dealing with Brad Hodges/Nemesis Project- many may vary and have positive things to say, this is just my own and perhaps something to consider before you purchase from him in the future.
I want to avoid posting up the full 300 or so emails back and forth between Brad and myself. So I am leaving it down to key points and excerpts from our emails.
As Brad moderates his own facebook page and removes any negative comments (or really any comments that customers may rightfully question) I am also wanting to clear up any misconceptions that Brad has made of me insinuating that I am a thief.
Brad operates under the idea that sales are conditional. Removing on threads, comments and so forth is not a condition for customers to receive their frames. Although he has stated otherwise that he DOES NOT HOLD FRAMES, this is not true.
You may notice there is another thread originally vouching for Brad as he requested and I complied in order to get my frame. This is a more accurate review of my experience with Brad.
I am also in New Zealand.

Key Dates during the complete transaction
Feb 28: Paid in full for Trackfighter rev 2, 48cm at introductory price ($550USD + $150 shipping)
April 15: I changed the frame size, in which Brad complied (which was great of him) and stated delivery will be 1 week later: "If your OK with a slightly longer lead time on delivery ( about 1 week more )"
May 28: "The frame is done "
(June 3rd, stated I was leaving the country and had planned on taking the bike with me)
June 10: "It will go out late this week.
Can I include a set of bars as my token of apperception for your patients ??""
(Emails sent to brad from on June 15th, 17th, 21st asking for shipping)
June 22: "I'm just waiting to have the frame back in my hands from the powcercoatets then it will ship."
June 28: I will have the bike in my hands ready to ship before the end of this week ( July 1)
July 1st: I'm dropping it off for powderoat in the morning , heattreat / powdercoat then I'll have it in hand monday
(was under the impression the bike was already at powdercoaters as said earlier on the 3rd and 22nd of june)
Me: Requested photos
During this period (1st - 7th) I pm'd 3 users on this forum requesting Brads number as no photos, no response to several emails.
July 7th: Requested tracking: Brad states he checks international shipping options.
"Then tomorrow I just stop bye the Powdercoat shop before I get in and take it directly to the post office for you .
To answer your question it will ship tomorrow ."
June 8th: Miscommunication regarding my PM's on other TT members, but is solved.
"I was supposed to be shipping your bike today , I hate to say you shot yourself in the foot . It will ship Friday / Monday when I have the time available again .
I'm sorry , today was spent for the most part reassuring my friends Derek , Albert and Kenny that I'm not a crook ."
July 12th: "The frame is slated to ship today (by his father)... he bike was supposed to ship express so it will be in NZ in about 5 days tops"
June 14th: "Hey your frame has shipped !!
(no tracking as requested)
June 20th: "The bike was delayed by my dad a bit but it is off in transit .
We think he left the receipt / tracking # in the company rental car he was using that day .
This is the honest to god truth of the situation."
According to brad the frame was stuck at the post office.. and he was waiting for it to be returned. At this point I contacted friends in MASH and FATLACE as they are mutual friends and also do business with each other to help work out where my frame was.
I received a new 50cm TF rev 2 frame (not the one he had originally built) mid AUGUST (was sent august 8th) in South Korea where I was currently on holiday.

Prior to the frame being sent out and a couple days before I left for South Korea I filed a chargeback through my credit card company as up until this point it did not look like I was getting any frame. The chargeback went through while the frame was in transit and upon proof of shipping I filed a cancellation.
Brad knows all of this- but decided to call me out on his facebook as a thief. If anyone here has dealed with chargebacks with Paypal you will know there is a 75day grace period before money can be released. As confirmed by Paypal the money was re-debited from my bank account and held during the 75 day period before it was returned to Brads. I also had Paypal send Brad emails confirming the current status in which he states the 75 day is set by me and I am punishing him (no this is me punishing you now brad) and also does not believe the emails sent by paypal were real.
He also tried to charge me for late payment each week (even though this was out of my hands, and the money was already with paypal), and extra shipping costs for being sent to South Korea instead of New Zealand (..even though south korea is considerably cheaper to ship to than New Zealand). Brad also contacted the Police to file the bike as stolen. During that period he has harassed me through email, threatening to send his friends round and calling my place of work.
As of November 9th, I have my frame and Brad has been paid in full.
During the transaction I contacted other members of TT forums (as mentioned earlier in the emails) and they were helpful in helping me get in contact with Brad as he was failing to return emails. Brad consistently tries to skew the situation.
The number of facebook comments from other users questioning where their frames are and reviews not only on TT but other forums reflect his bad reputation. He has left a trail of lies that as you know are piling up. I am happy with the quality of my frame but No. I would never deal with brad again.

he seemed to go through more effort of bitching and filing a police report, then he did to actually build/ship the bike
also, you received a frame that wasn't the one you ordered, and in the wrong size?

The original frame he was building (I assume he gave it away to fulfill short orders) was a TFv2 50.5cm in New ply, 10mm drop outs. instead I received a TFv2 50cm super therm with 14mm drop outs.
Since I was overseas at the time and already built up a new blkmkrt frame having 14mm dropouts was a bitch.
