njjerry, There are to many Mters in Greenville already!!!! Don't come because I want the trails to myself!!! Ha Ha, Greenville has many places to ride in town, just outside of town, and in NC 45mins away. Hit me up when you get here and I will introduce you to a lot of great people that ride here in the Greenville area.

If you guys haven't made it out yet today for some practice, there's still some time left until the sun goes down. Josh and Jarrett were working the trails down toward the first bridge. There was a group of 5, looked like a family of all ages all running on Intense... saw them go by about 5 times. Here's a pic of my wife, she wanted to session some of the (small) drops on the course... this is the new log about 1/3 or less from the top. It's hard to be a spectator and not be able to ride.... I am tempted.

So we can ride the course anytime as long as its on Sunday??
Trail is open Any day of the week except Saturday (the Park is Closed to Bikes)

The first week in November the Park goes to winter hours which means the Park Closes at 6:00Pm. Tuesday the Park stays open till 9pm for night rides...

Please keep in mind that the trails at Paris Mountain State Park are multi-use trails: This means on non-race days riding the course you must Share the Trail - Riders Yield to Hikers and Trail Runners - Downhill traffic Yields to Uphill traffic at all times. Please do not put our trail access in jeopardy! The future of this event depends on it.

last thing we need is Rangers getting complaints about hikers getting run over out there. Thanks

I'm trying to preregister for the race online. I created an account but when I try to select an age group on race day, only cat 1 selections come up in the drop down. I even try to select another event from the box in the upper right, but it doesn't change my selection in the drop down. I'm trying to select Cat 3 40 and over, what am I doing wrong?

Thanks in advance.

I'm out. Flagship down. Got me some nice twisted lowers courtesy of Nationals. Had just left the DH rig hanging on the wall until this weekend. Busted it out and put a front wheel on and realized the bike was already turning left.

Anyone with lowers for an 07-09 Boxxer WC lying around (not sure if Team lowers work) let me know.

Any 32 mm lowers should work. Sram gave me free lowers when I did the same. Worth a shot, they probably have plenty laying around that they aren't selling.

I actually talked to John Dawson moments after my mechanical. Was so depressed that I never thought to look. Would have been a good time to ask.
Butch, I have a 2005 Sherman Slider+ that doesn't move. Would look great on the turner and if you win your class you can keep it. :D

Gave it a try. They told Than $200+ for new lowers. Paid $300 for the whole fork. No dice, but thanks for the advice.
Mine was a 2010 and I did it 3 months after I bought it, so not really surprised they shut you down.

Oh, and Cecil must've scared away all the other "pros"

My house is going on the market tomorrow and there's a (slight) chance I may not be able to attend. If that happens, I have a 2009 boxxer that you can borrow.
