Just got an email saying they are opening for one last weekend of riding. I checked the forecast and the weather actually looks really good. (It is the Catskills and that can change quickly though).

Thats some good riding up there! I sure do wish I lived closer to some lift assisted parks. Platte is 14 or so hours from me.

i will be there on sunday. 
well highland was a bit muddy last weekend aka the jumpy trails reallllly hard to ride... sooo unless they dry out a ton by then... id still go platty!
for a first timer going to platty, what will trail conditions be? snow gone?
doesn't matter, the riding will be epic. dress warmer than you think you'll need to.

that date must be messed up. it showed the snow coming in two weeks ago and melting throughout the week
No kidding, but school work, riding with the kid and then a memorial service for an old friend are happening instead on Sat, then full on school Sunday. Will be in Long Line Land Turkey weekend with bike, tho.
I really miss DH but want to get this damn MS degree done!

Saturday was great !! On the way for the last day of DH in 2011. It has been a very good year, with lots of friends both old and new to ride with. 52 days this season !!
