Got the call, my new frame is here!

I'm working on putting her together, still waiting for carbon cranks and chain guide.

I love this, the hydraulic brake line can be routed through the frame.

Here is where the brake line and rear derailleur cable come out of the frame.

I'll have lots more pictures to come.

That's gonna be sick.

Just curious, how much of a pain is it to route cables/brake line through the frame? Any technique or do you just fiddle with it until it comes out the other end?

As promised more pictures.

I need a new saddle, the white one just looks strange. Any recommendations?

I have XO DH Carbon cranks on order as well as MRP carbon chain guide but those won't be here for a week or so.

She still need alot of dial in work but this is pretty much my 2012 race bike.

Dang, nice bike man!

Selle Italia SLR XC. It's around 180 grams and is actually a very good saddle. Durable and nice, a tiny bit soft, it doesn't hurt my ass too much to pedal for an hour or so. I got it on my own Session, looks super nice!

Awwwww, is somebody jealous? Or does somebody just like to make snarky negative comments? Either way, somebody looks a bit douchey right now!

Sick bike. Looking forward to reading the ride reports on these.
Depends on what kind of "tone" he meant... though I agree at face value. Why would someone care if you have that on there. I know all kinds of people that "accessorize" in that manner. And if your son gave it to you, then even more reason to rock it.

Just curious why you went with those wheels? I am assuming you had a better reason then "they are red."

Seems a strange choice. Everything all high performance good stuff, and suddenly, Crank brothers! :D

I am not hating, but like you said, a lot of people spend thousands of dollars on ti bolts and superlight this and that and then put a bar buddy that weighs half a pound or more on the bike.

This is 100% true.

Steve Peat used to be absolutely crap until he took that stuffed cookie monster off his seat post.

Its a goddamed stuffed spiderman. Stop being a wienerkid and realize that having your kid stoked on his dads bike is far more important than some internet big-dick posing about light bikes.

Well this is pretty easy to answer - I bought these wheels for my first session and I have loved them. They are super light and firm. I know that alot of people don't like these wheel sets but my experience with them has been great.

Funny how me wheelset and Spiderman seem to be the main points of the build..... As long as Spider man stays together he will be on any bike I build. My little boy loves seeing picture of me tweeking the bars with spiderman hanging out.

I know the wheel set isn't the best but they have been good to me so I'm going to keep riding them at least for another season.
