Looks awesome! My vote for saddle is the sdg one with the beam for the rail and tire tracks for seat cushions and stuff. :D

I call bs on your - I dont grow weed in my basement. That cash has to come from somewhere! ;)

Great looking build. Tioga D-spyder would be my choice for a saddle but no red ones are available.

Its a goddamed stuffed spiderman. Stop being a wienerkid and realize that having your kid stoked on his dads bike is far more important than some internet big-dick posing about light bikes.
It is funny that you mention stuffed spiderman and posing in one sentence. In a sport where the equipment gets dirty IMO nothing says more "I am posing" than having a clean plush bar buddy. ;)

Funny how me wheelset and Spiderman seem to be the main points of the build.....
Couldnt agree more...bike looks sick! I personally think the Crank Bros wheels are awesome as well. If I were you id go for a SDG iFly Saddle. They make black/red/white combo ones and i think the iBeam makes the bike look cleaner than traditional saddle rails. And faster too =)

Sick build bro! I love everything about it. I understand the Spidey thing. I wish my kids invested more energy into my racing than the usual "uhh, you're going racing AGAIN?"

you don't have to run the cables through the frame, there are cable guide attachments as well. I just think it's much cleaner with everything running through the frame.
I won't even take my top crown off or loosen a single shock bolt in the name of cleaner routing. :D

Ripping a brake in a crash and busting a set of cutters and allen key in time for a race run has happened so many times to me.

I had my first ride on my new Session 9.9. Thanks to Santiago and a Culture of Speed for one of the first. The build is typical DH and came in at 34.0 pounds. Coming off a 2011 Demo, 2010 951, 2009 m6, I didn't expect to be overwhelmed, but seriously, this bike is fast. Suspension, balance, light, lively, fun, pedaling with ease, and a magical ability to rocket out of corners. I would post a picture or two, but after the comments on the previous 9.9, I think I'll avoid the Ridemonkey scrutiny.

fairly ambitious with the 40 and RC4 no?
I'd be supried too. My legend is at it's best 36.1lbs. Session 9.9 frame is 2.5lb lighter than mine so 33.5 but I have a boxxxer wc with avy and a chunked stemcrown so that's 1 lb less in front. ~31 is achievable but very hard with a fox.

ok so its not specificly called the "drcv" 40 like they named all the other forks equiped on treks ( like my co-workers drcv talas or float or wtv fork it is ) .

do you have the hybrid air 40 ????
