I remember a few years ago when I was at Snowshoe there were some places to stay along the ridge road that looked sort of like pods/yurts. Anyone know what I am talking about? Maybe a name? My brother wants to go stay up there.

I think I know what you are talking about. They are right next to the top of the chair for the Western Slope and next to the road. I don't know anything else about them except they are called "Hutches" according to the map. Is this what you are looking for?

Figured out its called the Polypod. Now I just have to figure out who rents the damn thing.
I've always been intrigued by that place..let us know of its rentable...
It used to rent through RE/Max Spruce Realty but it doesn't show up in their list anymore. If you give them a call they may know if it is still on someone's rental list. We've stayed there twice.
The resort themselves rent it out. Call the front desk. Save me some floor space.
