I kinda wish it had a wiener opening and a stain resistant belly/thigh patch. Maybe pleather so I could just windex it off after happy time while watching Nancy Grace has passed.

I mostly want lift tickets. Can't wait to ski this year!

On another note, this is a great thread idea. I have my 26 year old bro-in-law's name this year and a $40 limit. (I don't really care if it goes a little above that). On his list all he has is:

goggles with interchangeable lenses
base layers
hats

I can't find goggles in the price range I need with interchangeable lenses, I could get him A shirt, or A pair of thermal pants, but that's lame, I'd like to get him BOTH if I go down that road, and hats are cheap. So, any thoughts on sites for the base layers or goggles in this price range (I've been looking at dig funk, back country, rei, etc)?

I can't find goggles in the price range I need with interchangeable lenses,

All goggles have interchangeable lenses. You should easily be able to find something from Smith, Scott, Oakley, Spy, at a local ski/board shop (think Sno-Con, Sturtevants/Boarderline etc, they should stock extra lenses for the goggles they sell, and typically have a discount from retail pricing) within your price range (smith transit pro with RC36 lens is $40 full retail. 99% of the time, what you are paying for in a more expensive goggle is a mirrored lens...that scratches easy, and will only be useful about 1% of the time around here.

Get a good one if you will use it, because the cheap ones are more of a hassle than they are fun. Butterfly makes nice tables. My buddy and I play quite a bit.
Not unlike a pool table or fooseball table. The cheap ones are junk, but quality used ones can be had on the cheap off CL. We had a pong table when I was a kid and it was a blast.

Exactly. The cheap ones are a waste of money, play like crap and will likely break or warp. For the love of god, don't put it outside either.
