so after checking out a few bikes and looking on the web for hours, this is what im debating between, whats your guys opinions on these bikes, ill be riding some mellow flats with the wife and charging down the hills with my buddies,i also rode the scott voltage but it just seemed to be more of a park bike to me,rode the cannondale jekyle and it seemed nice to,rear shock set up is really cool, but im wanting something with 7 inches of travel and i think these are my top two choices. The status just looks badass, but i heard the shock/fork hender the overall on the bike, and the operator/entorage looks looks like it will soak anything up,but again how are those domain forks?Or you guys know of any other bikes with 7 inches for 2500 or lower?Im looking for a bike with a single crown fork.

I would say the specialized, because the seat post angle and the ability to raise and lower the seat.

the Kona's have a very slack seat tube angle, raising the seat would put it really far back so you couldn't reach the handle bars. and you can only move it a couple inches. that being said i am friends with the designer and another friend is reviewing (entourage ) for pink bike right now.

Have you considered like a Genius 180, Uzzi Or like SX trail.. The issue with the Status Entourage and Operator are that like joelsman mentioned all very gravity oriented with slack head angles and seat angles which tend to not be very conducive to climbing where as something like those bikes I mentioned might play a little better when your aren't raging downhills.
