Too bad, would have loved to see Strobel on a Mondraker. (if rumors are true)

So what happens to Strobel is he going to be one of the 2 (him and Mason Mashon) still getting support from Evil or has he gone somewhere new?

Teams need financial support to race, bottom line. Markus and Lukas (MS-Racing), and the riders really wanted to continue with Evil but there was no way that Evil could bring $$ to the table. Understandable given the factory situation that Evil endured, and the fact that Kevin is trying to bring 2 carbon bikes to market. Pretty simple really. It's too bad that they couldn't continue together, but this is a business for these guys, not a hobby.

Also I'm stoked for my friends Todd Seplavy of GT and the Athertons getting to work together!

im not sure, but i seem to recall, barel said he would still be a part of mondraker, but he is doing the enduro events, and still with mondraker as well.. im sure he will throw some of his ideas to the DH guys..

The last time I spoke to Fabien, he still wanted to be involved with Mondraker and their product development. Fabien, his race program, including his mechanic Paul Walton, helped elevate Mondraker to a more globally recognized brand, bettered their product line up, etc. I am not sure on Fab's status with Mondraker.. but regardless of where Fabien goes, he will still be kicking a$$ and contributing to his sponsors and the sport of mountain biking. He is tip top.

DW already hit the nail on the head about MS-racing and Evil. MS-Racing was with Intense, then Evil, now Mondraker. I don't see that as them as having committal issues.

Racing Addition is still with Commencal? Sweet news for Thibaut and his brother. I hope Nicole is still on the program too.
GT signing the big guns Family, dang... that is sweet for the guys in Bethel, CT.
