Hard to choose as it's been a good year. These come to mind first now:

Rap and hip-hop:

Action Bronson - Well Done.

The Roots - Undun

Curren$y - Covert Coup

Danny Brown - XXX

Jay-Z and Kanye West - Watch The Throne

Anything else:

Tycho - Dive

Drive Soundtrack

Drums and Ammo - Vol. 1 [this could fall into rap and hip-hop, I guess]

I'm not too sure any of you will like any of these. Ha.

Riding the baggage carousel.
Not that I actually paid for any music this year. Seemed like I got way into sleepy drone stuff this year, all my favorite music from this year was definitely the most laid back music I've ever liked. Well, except for Teddybears.

Don't know if this one counts. Was released in the states in 2011, but damn near a year after it was available in Europe.

Teddybears: Devil's Music

Youth Lagoon: The Year of Hibernation

Washed Out: Within Without.
