...... at the stop light. Friggin car in front of me threw a rod and dumped all its oil on the ground. I found it with the front tire.

All is fine, but its the first incident on this bike. Longest I have gone with any bike without any incidents, almost 30K. I scratched a footpeg and that is all.

Sucks but you're lucky!! Mine got a couple scratches a few weeks ago just messing around riding easy stuff. Ok...little different then on the streets :P I'm lucky to say I've never laid over a bike on the street.

At least you didn't crack the crankcase, bend the foot clutch or brake controls, break a turn signal, bend a lever, scratch the paint or get ran over. Now how do you feel, all better now?:)

I almost ate it this week.

I was leaving the bar and I waved good bye to everyone, then I gunned it. My rear end went diagonal for a moment, but I kept the rubber side down.

That's what you get for throwing a handful of front brake at that situation.
Ha I probably would have been better if I had..... I was already crusing to a stop as it were, it was dark out, I didnt see it and DUMP.... I just stepped off, could have been alot worse Hell I just picked it up and rode home after figuring out what the hell happened. I think my overall point was for other riders to remember you never know when something will happen to drop you at will.
