Yeahyeahyeah...Stapp is a douche too. They in all honesty remind me of Dave Mtthews, everything sound the same.
You are not alone, I owned the first cd and liked it, though I'm not a fan any longer. I'll even go one better and admit to liking the first two or three Nickleback discs, and still spin them from time to time. Saw them in concert opening up for 3 Doors Down.

+1

Nickelback actually gained a shred of respect from me when I learned "Side of a Bullet" was a tribute to Dimebag, and actually sampled one of his unreleased solos.

Just one song??? That limit won't work for me--

If I'm thinking of Alaina, Sawyer Brown's "Drive Me Wild" or Tim McGraw's "Don't Take the Girl",
If I'm wanting to be passionate with my wife, Teddy Pendergrass' "Let's Take A Shower",
If I'm wanting to get nutso/crazy, Metallica's "Ain't My Bitch" or lately, Black Keys' "Lonely Boy" or Awolnation's "Burn It Down"

And these are just a few......

Alan Jackson- Remember When

The song itself has almost nothing to do with it, but when a friend sold his truck ("The Piece" or "El Pedazo" after the 500), he put together a video with a bunch of pictures and clips from a lot of time spent in the desert. If I've been drinking enough, it'll bring a tear to my eye.

It's not written yet. The burden of being this cool is harder then I could have ever imagined. Terribly empty actually.....

ok i gotta ask, why that song?
Growing up my dad didn't have a lot of time for me as he owned his own business and worked 6 days a week. I try to spend time with my kids ( I do coach baseball and take guitar lessons with my son), but sometimes feel not as much as I really can/should.

Hiding from the stupid
I like these threads. I almost always find something new I like.

Probably my favorite song ever.

This one will always be special because my first daughter was born to it.

Edited to add this. It gets me every time too.
