As long as I remember... I always try and improve everything.
It was long before I started riding.
Did you made some parts too?

Parts I made:
Chain guide (at 2003 it wasn't so easy to find a good one) sorry I don’t have a picture of it
At 2006 when I bought my sunday I made a offset headset (from there you know the end...)
Last week I made some guards for my single speed to keep the chain in place at the rear wheel
And I made an offset headset to shorten the cockpit on my new DHR

That's awesome! Do any manufacturers make offset headsets or is the market too small? How much offset is the steerer tube now?

The headset lips are bigger and higher to let the bearings seat outside.
The steerer tube is almost touching the head tube...
With the Straitline 28 direct mount stem, I made the cockpit smaller by a full inch :)

I made a LG-1 backplate out of carbon fiber back in 07'. I also made a 6spd set up with a carbon catch plate back in 08'. Saved some weight, gained some hassle, I just ride stock stuff now for DH.

Same here. I can't leave anything alone.

The chain guide was right around the LG1 release. Not that I was before anyone, but I had been designing and testing long before I ever took these pics.
The rear adapter is universal - letting you use a 6, 7 or 8" rotor.
The rocker links on my old SGS - I guess the stock ones were just too light:rolleyes:
I made Ti inserts that let you run a QR hub on a 12mm frame

I've made lots of "problem solvers" that turned out to only solve my problems......

that universal brake adapter is really slick. would be one of those items great to have on hand just in case when doing a parts bin build to get the bike running. just out of curiosity, did you ever compare the weight against a normal brake adapter?

the chain line is ok and all
but I dont want to take the risk
a 8" bike can make the chain slap and jump... and maybe get off the rear

They are @ 111g, so..............

These were my first run, so I could likely shave 20-30 grams off, but no money in them, so no rev.B
