Morning monkeys!

Spent the weekend at the in-laws, and I get to go back for work today. At least I'll get mileage this time. Also went to see my parents. Dad had hernia surgery last week and is doing fine. He is trying to get his drivers license back, he just needs to be faint-free for a year from his last episode, which is in June or July.

Be safe out there.

I'm homeless
Up at 6, no class mondays, so that means I'm on the way out the door to sit in the library and do homework. Should be a nice productive 14 day with a 4 hour break in the middle to go to work.

My Monday's all sound the same. I mountain biked Saturday and went on an insane skate ski trip yesterday. Insanely beautiful, long, and tough.

Morning monkeys.

My back has been killing me for over a week now. 4 visits to the chiro and while it's helped the pain, the symptoms are worse. So today I go in for xrays to see if there is a disc issue.

Dr Toshi, the pain is not in my back at all. It's buried in my left calf muscle. If I stand, or walk, it will loosen up, but if I sit for more than about 30 minutes, my left leg goes numb.

Awesome, I am clearly falling apart and I didn't even do anything cool to hurt myself.

#jimmydeanproblems

On a lighter note, I got some spy photos of my finished painting. She's been waiting to have her friend to the pin stripes before she sends it to me.

So stoked!

Morning. Bottled some homebrew yesterday, then took the scooter out for a spin out east. Sometimes I forget how much of Colorado is not worth seeing. About froze to death after the sun went down during the last 70 miles

Today is front tire and fork seal day on said scooter. Wife and woman-child get home tonight.

I'm rollin' strong with acupuncture. The needles are smaller than I like, but you can't argue with results. After yesterday's session, my left pinky now moves enough to hold down my bass strings. Couldn't do that last week.

jimmy-d, the calf origin may not be far off. i just learned a new stretch that pulls from my left ankle, up through the left IT-band, through that side of the hip/low back, along the spine, up through the scapula, along the neck, finishing along the jaw-line. evidently, there is a chain of direct connections. weird, since i don't feel much pain or tightness until i start the stretch. if i can find a diagram, i'll post or pm.

Awesome, thank you sir. Acupuncture is next for me after Dr Tom gives my back another try. Father/son doc team, I have seen Tom (son) more, but he works the front of the week, so I saw pops Friday/Saturday. the electro shock stimulation is the main reason I go, it does wonders.

I know my acupuncturist would stick some random pin in my right shoulder to fix the pain in my left calf caused by my lower back. :panic:

<edit> I almost forgot the ground pin in the side of my left big toe.

They have build all that in 10 years. For some reason the travel agency that planned the trip thought we would like to see the old **** whole parts too but I choose to spare you from that part of the trip.

There were 2 bars, and one of them was far worse than the other. There was the awesome gold market and pirated EVERYTHING, though.

Had a very busy weekend, but it was a big success so that's what really matters. On Saturday, we hosted our annual LUNAFEST Film Festival and Silent Auction on Saturday and managed to raise over $3500 for the Breast Cancer Fund & Caring Together NY (local ovarian cancer group). Then we headed to the local pub to celebrate and met Gordon Ramsey (Hell's Kitchen guy) who's in town doing a hotel make-over for a new show.

Sunday, Syd had Daisy scouts and then we celebrated my brother-in-law's birthday. I managed to hurt my foot somehow during the weekend events too so that sucks.

Today began the 3rd quarter of our school year...where has the time gone?!

Other than that and being nearly 25 weeks preggo,so I can't have beer, things have been good :)
