Trying to find a set of 30mm x 8mm offset bushings within the US, or at least has cheap shipping rates.

Everything I've found so far is in the UK. Burgtec (expensive product) , offsetbushings.com (expensive shipping)....

And no, I don't have access to a machine shop.

Search for "proshox" on Ebay.

Not US, but IMHO decent pricing on product and shipping.

I have purchased two sets, and they work well.

Not super super finish on product, but it's shock hardware, who cares.

I forgot about these and I'm well down the road of making a new link to slacken my bike.
If you do get them, I would warn against getting them in Ti. I made Ti regular ones for several bikes a couple years back and they had a very short life. Unless a particular frame sees very little ratation on the shock end, they will score and get sloppy fast. Ti is actually fairly soft. These should really be hardened steel.

Will you post when you're done? I'm interested in seeing the custom link!

thanks for the tip, repped.
$20 for some OS bushings....first time I've seen some a set for sale that are reasonably priced for what they are.

I'll have to pick some up for myself and a friend and see how it works out.

I'm thinking to get a pair of these babies for my enduro bike and I have a doubt

I've read that you have to remove shocks du bushings to install the offset ones... If so.... The offset bushing spins around the thru bolt (m6/m8) or the shock eyelet spins around the offset bushing?

I'm trying to understand the layout of the "system" and the wearing process....

The DU bushing remains in the shock eyelet. The offset reducer goes in just like a regular reducer and is clamped on either side by your frame/link. The reducer turns in the DU bushing just like a regular reducer. I think it's the terminology "offset bushing" that is confusing you.

The proshox ones are awesome I have 2 in my bike now and a Friend has one in his. The guy running the show is pretty knowledgeable when it comes to the more mass produced bikes as far as what sizes go in what bikes. Definitely +1 for him.

Hey guys,

I work for www.offsetbushings.com. We send sets abroad all round Europe and to the USA/Canada all the time. With a 1 week machine time coupled with around 1 week US postage we are quick too! We are also the cheapest supplier, with the ability to make any size you could ask for as every set is made to order.

We've had hundreds of happy customers that can testify to the product. You can order online through our site on the above address.

As we can sell our product at half the price of our competitors (Burgtec), we can't offer free international postage. However even with postage our product is still far cheaper - have a look yourself!

Cheers!

Do you make offset bushings or offset reducers?

(yes, they are cool and they look good, but they are not bushings)

Jim,

I named it Offset Bushings as that's what they were referred to by magazines when they first came on the scene. As you that's not in fact the correct technical term for them however.
