Didt Zumbi rip off and burn a load of team racers a couple of years ago?
I wouldnt support a manufacturer that did that.

I actually like both of those frames and have been in talk with zumbi about getting one of these to test out. The only thing that didn't get my really excited about the F11 is the 68* head angle, but they do offer custom geometry.

So let me get this straight...

and it looks like the zumbi is available with a tapered headtube.
Well, here's the thing as a multiple-turner owner. Look at the link, it looks like it doesn't tapers towards the shock. On nearly every bike I've owned with a link that requires a big long shock bolt/pin, I've bent said pin. It simply allows too much leverage to be imparted and it eventually bends. Then there's the bearings, which for a limited rotation application are simply not all that great of an idea, the full contact journal bearings (bushings) that turner uses allow for much more lateral rigidity than a bearing system, and while needle and tapered bearings may at least get somewhat comparable (still not nearly as much contact area) lateral rigidity, they are very hard to use in these applications and not practical. But hey, off-the shelf ball bearings are cheaper right?, disregarding the pitting issues and other reasons why they are a poor choice. Then there's the asym chainstays to prevent interference issues. I don't know if the current turners have this, but on mine the seat-tube is tapered and while a bit hard to detect with the naked eye, the ID/OD is bigger towards the BB and smaller at the seatpost. Notice the tubing bends at the HT area to allow for fork clearance as well.

I don't know which one "looks" better, but all sorts of details like these usually mean the Turner is designed better. Is the the "best bike in the world"? No, but they do pay attention to the details and I've learned that a "bike that looks like" the Turners is usually nothing like them, having owned such bikes.

drop a works headset in the tapered version and go shred.

that bike looks great, and zombi bikes ride really well.

damn gina, i didn't expect people to get so butthurt over a frame not made by our friends in taiwan that didn't have something to do with the e13 crew.

Sorry, I'll only post hype about companies that require a two year deposit to sell you a functional frame...

For the few interested in Zumbi here. Talked to Paweł and he said no problem if you want a 67ha.
